Smokeless Ashtray

This style is more economically priced. The smokless ashtray has a small, low-noise fan that pulls the cigarette smoke into the ashtray where it passes through filter(s) that remove the harmful smoke.
Advantages: The fan will pull more smoke into the unit than an ionic smokeless ashtray. Lower initial price.
Disadvantages: Fans, while being fairly quiet are not silent like ionic smokeless ashtrays. Filters need to be cleaned or replaced.
Ionic Smokeless Ashtray
The best smokeless ashtray is an ionic smokeless ashtray.
When an ionic smokeless ashtray is turned on, it generates negative ions. They immediately attach to the positively charged smoke particles in cigarette smoke. These particles bond to the positive charged inside of the ash tray where they can be easily wiped cleaned. Effectively cleans the smoky air. You can also use ionic smokless ashtray to help eliminate pollen, mold spores, dust, pet dander, and many other allergy causing particulates from the air you breathe. Negative ions help purify and freshen the air you breathe silently, optimally, and safely. You can leave it on 24/7 for a healthier smoking and non-smoking environment –energy costs would be about 15 cents a month.
Advantages: There are usually no filters to clean or replace. There is no fan so the unit is completely silent. Negative ions clean the air of smoke and odors and provide fresh, outdoors smell. Energy costs are very low.
Disadvantages: The ionic smokeless ashtray while generating significant air flow pulls in a little less smoke because it has no motor but it is still the best smokeless ashtray. Both models also come as an auto or car ashtray or cigar ashtray.
